Hello to everyone...
As you may have seen in Google today is 161 years since Gaudi's birth.
Gaudi is one of my favourites architects- I admire his work .He had a very strange and unique way to design buildings and places....I have never been in Barcelona to see those art buildings (by my opinion) ,I have seen them only in pictures and through those pictures I loved his technique. One of my favourites is Casa Batlló , a house that Gaudi redesigned and make it noticeable and not like the other houses .
For this set I used 3 different colors and I inspired it from his work in Casa Batlló.
The title of my post is referred on the roof of Casa because as you can see below it represents an animal’s spine , particularly a dragon.
A common theory about the building is that the rounded feature to the left of centre, terminating at the top in a turret and cross, represents the lance of Saint George, which has been plunged into the back of the dragon.
Have you ever been there?
kisses V.
